I draw digital anime/manga-style art, with a focus on characters. SFW/NSFW are both okay! Private commissions are also accepted! See specifics in the Terms of Service.

Ordering/Pricing

Before ordering a commission, please ensure you have read both the Terms of Service and checked the Commission Status to ensure there are enough available slots to accomodate your request.

Currently, I only accept direct commission payments through a popular blue payment service. Since I offer NSFW works, I'll refrain from explicitly naming it here, but if there's any confusion to which service this is, feel free to ask directly.For all requests, you will receive full-resolution .png file(s) of the image(s), any requested version(s) with transparent background(s), and the .psd file. A timelapse can also be recorded and provided if desired.It may be possible/necessary to adjust the canvas size to accommodate your requested image(s).Example images here may be updated from time to time to better reflect order options.

Rough Color Sketch/
Lineart + shading

Sketchy lineart with mostly flat or rough colors and/or cleaner lineart with monochomatic shading. For all Commissions, the following modifiers and options are available:Additional Character(s) and pose(s):
I offer commissions with multiple characters and poses, so please pay careful attention to how the pricing works.Additional poses/characters will incur additional cost depending on the specific combinations. To keep pricing appropriate for the workload and the number of characters/poses to be drawn, pricing follows this formula:Price = 0.25 * (option base price) * (1 + # characters)(1 + # poses)where "option base price" refers to the prices listed above.If you would like to mix and match different options the first drawing for each different option is always full price. For example, if you would like a half-body refined sketch and a full body refined sketch of a single character, the price is:e.x: $45 (half-body refined sketch) + $75 (full-body refined sketch) = $120Or if you would like two half-body refined sketches and a single full-body refined sketch of a single character, the price becomes:e.x: $67.60 (two half-body refined sketches) + $75 (full-body refined sketch) = $142.50So the price increase from 1 -> 2 poses of the same type is not twice the base option price, but introducing a new pose option comes in at full price.As another example, for the Sana x Fauna (dark-skinned girl x green-haired girl) drawing above the price comes out to:$45 (bust-up, 1 chara , 2 poses) +

$112.50 (full body, 2 charas, 1 pose) = $202.5To find your expected price for mix-and-matching poses/options, please use the formula above for each distinct option and add the results, as in the previous examples.Some compromises might be made to reduce prices for more expensive options depending on layout/sizes of the poses on the page. Specifics can be discussed through email/DM.Additionally, here is a link to a Google doc where you can choose your options and see the correct price. Please be sure to make a copy in your own drive before using, as you cannot edit the original doc.If anything is still unclear or if you would like me to cross-check your expected price for a commission, please feel free to ask and I can double check it for you.Complex Designs:
Characters/outfits with more complicated designs may incur an extra fee between $5 - $20, decided after discussion.Variants: Starting at $5 of base price, depending on number/type of variations. Simpler ones (facial expressions, "liquids") will cost less, while more complicated ones (alternate outfits, stages of undressing, pose adjustments) cost more.
(Note: Versions with transparent background are free of charge, if requested)Simple Background: One/two colors, simple shapes/designs of my choosing, unless otherwise specified. (No extra cost)Standard Background: + $20
For example: a bedroom/bathroom with minimal accessories, a simple hallway, simple landscapes, etc. This option would be suitable for a Refined Sketch or Fully Rendered Piece.Detailed Background/Environment: + $40
For example: cityscapes, detailed landscapes, rooms with very specific items/details, etc. This would be most suitable for a fully rendered piece.ex., 1 refined sketch full-body character + standard background - $75 (base price) + $20 (standard background) = $95

ex., 1 fully rendered full-body character + detailed background - $100 (base price) + $40 (standard background) = $140(Note: If desired, we can discuss the specifics of background details to decide which category it falls under)Note: Currently, if multiple images with different backgrounds (i.e., different povs requiring multiple backgrounds to be drawn) are desired, the commission will be split into multiple distinct orders, each priced each priced separately.
This may change in the future when I have improved considerably at drawing backgrounds/environments.

Terms of Service

By ordering a commission, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept the following terms of service for commissioning Aihara.

(1) ADULTS ONLY(i) By commissioning me, you confirm that you are 18 years old or older, or of legal age in your country of residence. If I suspect or discover that you are below the legal age, any commissions in progress will be immediately cancelled without refund and you will be blocked/blacklisted from any future commissions.

(2) COMMISSION DETAILS(i) I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason. This would most likely be due to my own inability to execute the requested drawing(s) to an acceptable degree of quality or discomfort with the subject matter of the request.(ii) Please be sure to have a reference sheet, or at least a reference image, for any character(s) in your commission. If you would still like to order a commission but do not have a specific character with a reference sheet/image in mind, please consider submitting a request via Pixiv Requests instead.(iii) It is possible to request variants for your commissioned image(s). Be aware that each variant will incur additional fees on top of the base commission prices (please see the "Variants" section in Ordering/Pricing for more details.)(iv) Commissions are for personal use only. I reserve full rights to use, display, and share the completed image(s), including in future commission information, social media posts, live streams, etc. unless discussed otherwise. If you would like to purchase full exclusive rights to your commissioned image(s) for commercial use, please let me know and we can discuss the associated additional fees to do so.(v) I do accept private commissions! For private commissions, no details of the commission content or commissioner will be shared in any way, shape, or form, except for the anonymous marker on the commission tracker indicating that a slot has been filled by said commission.

(3) PAYMENT(i) Currently, payment for a direct commission is only accepted in USD via a popular blue payment processing platform (if it is not clear which one this is, let me know). If an alternative payment method is needed, it can be discussed separately.(ii) Payments can be made in two ways, either:
(a) Payment in full (100%) upon commission acceptance, or
(b) Half (50%) upon commission acceptance and the remaining half (50%) upon sketch approval.(iii) Please do not send payment until I have confirmed to have given you a commission slot and requested the payment from you (i.e., until you have received the invoice).(iv) Edits - After the initial sketch(es) is(are) done, up to three free major edits are allowed. At this point, if you so choose, you may still revise your commission to include any modifications/additions listed in Ordering/Pricing (i.e., additional characters/poses, more/less variants, etc.). Any further edits beyond these three will incur an additional fee. Any major edits requested after the Rough Sketch phase will incur an additional fee.

(4) COMMUNICATION

(i) Communication regarding commission progress will be done via email or Discord Direct Messages (DMs). If you prefer or must use an alternative method of communication, it can be discussed separately.

(5) TURNAROUND TIME

(i) The maximum turnaround time in which to expect your order to be completed and delivered is two months (60 days) from receipt of first payment.Note: If you prefer, I can also delay sending the payment invoice until I am ready to begin working on your order.(ii) If for some reason I should need more than two months to complete your order, I will let you know before the two-month period has passed.(iii) In the event that the two-month period has passed, and I have not contacted you to inform you about/discuss any additional time needed to complete your order, you will receive a 50% discount on your order.
(a) In the event that the two-month period has passed, and I have not shown you any initial sketches, you are free to change any and all aspects of your commission, as detailed in section (3)(iv) - Edits, without using up any of your 3 free edits. This includes adding any extra modifications/additions to your commission that would bring it back to the original quoted price. Keep in mind that adding more and more modifiers can increase the prices beyond the original quoted price, and your total payment will change to reflect this.
(b)In the event that the two-month period has passed, and I have shown you initial sketches but have not yet worked on your commission further, you are free to change any and all aspects of your commission up to three times, as detailed in section (3)(iv) - Edits. This includes adding any extra modifications/additions to your commission that would bring it back to the original quoted price. Keep in mind that adding more and more modifiers can increase the prices beyond the original quoted price, and your total payment will change to reflect this.(iv) Rush Commissions - Currently, I do not offer rush commissions. If you absolutely need a commission from me by a certain date, please factor in the necessary lead time when ordering a commission.

(6) COMMISSION USE POLICY(i) As described in section (2)(iv), I reserve all rights to use the commissioned image(s) as I see fit unless otherwise discussed with the client. If you would like to purchase full rights to use the image for commercial purposes, please let me know we can discuss the associated fees to do so.(ii) Do not use/sell my commissioned images as NFTs in any way. If it comes to my attention that you have done so, directly or indirectly, you and any associated parties will be blocked and blacklisted from any future commissions.(iii) Do not use my commissioned images as part of any generative AI training dataset. If it comes to my attention that you have done so, directly or indirectly, you and any associated parties will be blocked and blacklisted from any future commissions.(iv) Feel free to post or repost my commission(s) on your personal social media accounts, with credit displayed in some form (either by including social media handles or simply displaying my signature in the image(s)).

(7) CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS(i) If you have approved the sketch(es) I share with you and I have begun working on your commission, you can no longer receive a refund in any form. You may still cancel your commission at a later point, but any payments you have already made will not be refunded.(ii) If you cancel your order before I begin working, you will receive a full refund for any payment already received. Be sure to contact me as well, to ensure I know that you have cancelled your order.(iii) Likewise, If for any reason I become unable to begin working on your commission, I will contact you and you will receive a full refund for any payment already received.(iv) If I have already begun working on your commission beyond the sketch phase, but for some reason become unable to complete it in full, either within the two-month period stated in section (5)(i) or some other deadline agreed upon between the commissioner and myself and recorded in writing, I will contact you and you will receive a full refund for any payment already received.

Pixiv Requests

If you would still like a drawing, but do not have a reference sheet/image or perhaps do not have a specific idea in mind, I suggest requesting a drawing via Pixiv Requests.
Please read the help/FAQ page for requests on the Pixiv website for any questions, as well as my specific request guidelines before submitting a request.Not that there is no guarantee a pixiv request will be accepted. In the case it is not accepted, Pixiv should refund any payment made by the requester. Also not that non-acceptance of a request does not mean it has been declined, it's possible I may just be too busy at the time to check or complete requests.There is no guarantee that accepted/completed Pixiv requests will be of complete fully-rendered quality, but I will do my best to complete any accepted requests to the quality corresponding to the recommended asking price and/or the price proposed by the requester.For the time being, I will try to limit Pixiv requests so that I am only working on one request alongside other commissions.
