I draw digital anime/manga-style art, with a focus on characters. SFW/NSFW are both okay! Private commissions are also accepted! See specifics in the Terms of Service.
Ordering/Pricing
Before ordering a commission, please ensure you have read both the Terms of Service and checked the Commission Status to ensure there are enough available slots to accomodate your request(s).
Currently, I only accept direct commission payments through a popular blue payment service. Since I offer NSFW works, I'll refrain from explicitly naming it here, but if there's any confusion to which service this is, feel free to ask directly.For all requests, you will receive full-resolution .png file(s) of the image(s), any requested version(s) with transparent background(s), and the .psd file. A timelapse can also be recorded and provided if desired.After browsing commission options, please save a copy of the following Google doc to your own drive, and use it to plug in numbers/select options and get an idea for the price of your order. If there is any confusion, feel free to ask any questions!Once you are ready to submit, please use the link to the Google Form at the bottom of this page!!!!CAUTION!!!

Standard Single Illustration
Full rendering and details on most, if not all, parts of the image.Canvas size A4 at 350 dpi, or larger if needed.Bust - $60
Half-body - $120
Full-body - $180For each additional character, add 50% of the base price.
Multi Pose Collage
A Single Page filled with between 2-6 rendered poses, involving a maximum of 4 unique characters.It's recommended to keep the total number of figures on the canvas to 12 or under - it will be more difficult to come up with a pleasing arrangement otherwise!Canvas size A4 at 350 dpi (can change depending on pose layout)Starting at $200Total price will vary depending on number of characters and poses. Character Sheets and Character Design
Character Sheet
1, 2, or 3 rendered views of an already existing character.Character Design
Creating a new, original character from scratch. Culminates in a full character sheet with 3 rendered views. Note that the character design process can be long. Please expect character design projects to take up to 4 months from the initial payment date to completion. Note that this is an expected delivery date, not a guaranteed one.Character Sheets start at $250
Character Designs start at $500Final sheets include an additional 3 bust shots for facial expressions, 3 detail shots for complex items, and 1 prop design (e.g. weapons, misc. items). Extra Prop Design - $30Canvases can/will be VERY LARGE to ensure details are visible. An extra fee applies to the base price if no references are provided.
Emotes
Static emotes for multi-platform use, e.g. Youtube, Twitch, Discord.If you are planning to commission an emote to be animated by someone else at a later date, I recommend you ask a different artist, as I have no experience preparing emote art for animation in other software. Sorry!Delivered as transparent .pngs at 448x448px by default. Some platforms auto-resize images, but I can also provide multiple output resolutions if you would rather have them properly sized right away.Single emote base price - $20

Terms of Service
By ordering a commission, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept the following terms of service for commissioning Aihara.
(1) ADULTS ONLY(i) By commissioning me, you confirm that you are 18 years old or older, or of legal age in your country of residence. If I suspect or discover that you are below the legal age, any commissions in progress will be immediately cancelled without refund and you will be blocked/blacklisted from any future commissions.
(2) COMMISSION DETAILS(i) I reserve the right to decline any commission request for any reason I deem suitable.(ii) Please be sure to submit a reference sheet or reference image for any character(s) in your commission.
If you would still like to order a commission but do not have a specific character with a reference sheet/image in mind, please consider submitting a request via Pixiv Requests instead.(iii) It is possible to request variants for your commissioned image(s).
Be aware that each variant will incur additional fees on top of the base commission prices (please see the "Variants" section in Ordering/Pricing for more details.)(iv) By default, commissioned artworks are for personal use.
This includes use for social media posts/promotions and video/stream thumbnails for monetized content.
I reserve full rights to use, display, and share the completed image(s), including in future commission information, social media posts, live streams, etc. unless discussed otherwise.(v) If you would like to use commissioned artwork for commercial merchandising purposes (e.g., using the commissioned artwork in derivative digital/physical merchandise or in promotional materials for said merchandise), there is an additional +50% on top of the total price.
If at a later date you would like to use a previous commission for commercial merchandising purposes, you may choose to pay this remaining amount later, as some extra modification to the artwork may be needed.(vi) I accept private commissions!
For private commissions there is an additional +50% fee on top of the total price.
Details of the commission content or commissioner will be kept only between myself and the commissioner, including after the commission is complete.
(3) PAYMENT(i) Currently, payment for a direct commission is only accepted in USD via a popular blue payment processing platform (if it is unclear what I am referring to, please ask me!).
If an alternative payment method is needed, we can discuss further.(ii) Payments can be made in two ways, either:
(a) Payment in full (100%) upon commission acceptance,
OR
(b) Half (50%) upon commission acceptance and the remaining half (50%) upon sketch approval.(iii) Please do not send payment until your slot is confirmed and you have received an invoice.(iv) Edits - After the initial sketch(es) is(are) done, up to three free major edits are allowed.At this point, if you so choose, you may still revise your commission to include any modifications/additions listed in Ordering/Pricing (i.e., additional characters/poses, variants, etc.).
Any further edits beyond these three will incur an additional fee.
Any major edits requested after the Rough Sketch phase will incur an additional fee.
(4) COMMUNICATION
(i) Communication regarding commission progress will be done via email or Discord Direct Messages (DMs).
If you prefer or must use an alternative method of communication, it can be discussed separately.
(5) TURNAROUND TIME
(i) For "Standard Single Illustration," "Multi Pose Collage," and "Emote" orders, the maximum turnaround time in which your order will be completed and delivered is two months (60 days) from receipt of first payment.(ii) For "Character Sheets/Character Design" orders, the expected turnaround time for order completion is four months (120 days) from receipt of first payment.
As personal situations can change over longer timescales, this is not a guaranteed delivery date.Note: I normally delay sending the payment invoice until I am ready to begin working on your order. Most clients have preferred this approach so far.(iii) If for some reason I should need more than the expected time to complete an order, I will let you know before the maximum/expected completion time period has passed.(iv) In the event that the maximum/expected time period has passed, and I have not contacted you to inform you about/discuss any additional time needed to complete your order, you will receive a 50% discount on your order.
(a) In the event that the maximum/expected time period has passed, and I have not shown you any initial sketches, you are free to change any and all aspects of your commission, as detailed in section (3)(v) - Edits, without using up any of your 3 free edits.
This includes adding any extra modifications/additions to your commission that would bring it back to the original quoted price.
Keep in mind that adding more and more modifiers can increase the prices beyond the original quoted price, and your total payment will change to reflect this.
(b) In the event that the maximum/expected time period has passed, and I have shown you initial sketches but have not yet worked on your commission further, you are free to change any and all aspects of your commission up to three times, as detailed in section (3)(iv) - Edits.
This includes adding any extra modifications/additions to your commission that would bring it back to the original quoted price.
Keep in mind that adding more and more modifiers can increase the prices beyond the original quoted price, and your total payment will change to reflect this.(iv) Rush Commissions - Currently, I do not offer rush commissions.
If you absolutely need a commission delivered by a certain date, please factor in the necessary lead time when ordering!
(6) COMMISSION USE POLICY(i) As described in section (2)(iv), I reserve all rights to use the commissioned image(s) unless otherwise discussed with the client.
If you would like to purchase full exclusive rights to use the image, please let me know we can discuss the associated fees to do so.(ii) Do not use/sell my commissioned images as NFTs in any way.
If it comes to my attention that you have done so, directly or indirectly, you and any associated parties will be blocked and blacklisted from any future commissions.(iii) Do not use my commissioned images as part of any generative AI training dataset.
If it comes to my attention that you have done so, directly or indirectly, you and any associated parties will be blocked and blacklisted from any future commissions.(iv) Feel free to post or repost my commission(s) on your personal social media accounts, with credit given in some form.
(7) CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS(i) If you have approved the sketch(es) I share with you and I have begun working on your commission, you can no longer receive a refund in any form.
You may still cancel your commission at a later point, but any payments you have already made will not be refunded.(ii) If you cancel your order before I begin working, you will receive a full refund for any payment already received.
Be sure to contact me as well, to ensure I know that you have cancelled your order.(iii) Likewise, If for any reason I become unable to begin working on your commission, I will contact you and you will receive a full refund for any payment already received.(iv) If I have already begun working on your commission beyond the sketch phase, but for some reason become unable to complete it in full, either within the maximum/expected period stated in section (5)(i) or some other deadline agreed upon between the commissioner and myself and recorded in writing, I will contact you and you will receive a full refund for any payment already received.

Pixiv Requests
If you would still like a drawing, but do not have a reference sheet/image or perhaps do not have a specific idea in mind, I suggest requesting a drawing via Pixiv Requests.
Please read the help/FAQ page for requests on the Pixiv website for any questions, as well as my specific request guidelines before submitting a request.Not that there is no guarantee a pixiv request will be accepted. In the case it is not accepted, Pixiv should refund any payment made by the requester. Also not that non-acceptance of a request does not mean it has been declined, it's possible I may just be too busy at the time to check or complete requests.There is no guarantee that accepted/completed Pixiv requests will be of complete fully-rendered quality, but I will do my best to complete any accepted requests to the quality corresponding to the recommended asking price and/or the price proposed by the requester.For the time being, I will try to limit Pixiv requests so that I am only working on one request alongside other commissions.
